It is now just 150 days to go until the eyes of the world will be on
London and the start of the 2012 Olympic Games.
Today in London we are watching a giant set of Olympic rings travel east
down the Thames from London Bridge to the Thames Barrier and returning back to
Tower Bridge later in the day.

The rings stand at 11 metres high, with the Olympic colours on one
side and white LED lights on the other and will reappear on the Thames at the
start of the Olympics.
This should prove to be quite a head turning event, and a reminder to
the capital of the growing excitement and anticipation we all have for this
summer.
